Aside from its convetional focus on "careers in finance", it aims to invite the most influential and highly-prized professionals from a myriad spectrum of disciplines and industries to engage LSE students in discourse on various significant issues in the financial world. This year, we are organising the Development Week (focus microfinance and social entrepreneurship), the LSEAIC 2008 (Private Equity/Hedge Fund Conference), as well as thematic series of events on the Asian Financial Crisis, the Credit Crunch, as well as other lectures and workshops.
