The LSESU Business Society, founded in 1996, has developed into the largest and best-established society at the LSE.
It currently boasts a membership of over 2000, is sponsored by leading City institutions and is widely recognised as the most active, professional and successful student society on campus at the LSE. The LSESU Finance Society It is the largest finance-related society at the university and in Europe
It currently boasts a membership of over 2,000 and is sponsored by the top global investment banks and as well as a wide range of other financial services firms. Aside from its convetional focus on "careers in finance", it aims to invite the most influential and highly-prized professionals from a myriad spectrum of disciplines and industries to engage LSE students in discourse on various significant issues in the financial world. This year, we are organising the Development Week (focus microfinance and social entrepreneurship), the LSEAIC 2008 (Private Equity/Hedge Fund Conference), as well as thematic series of events on the Asian Financial Crisis, the Credit Crunch, as well as other lectures and workshops.
